As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, build and maintain retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, keep inventory levels in check, and support teammates with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may also work with other products offered in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be

$17.13 to $18.13

depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours for this position are between

14-18 hours per week .

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is

required .

Your Role and Responsibilities You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you’ll restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily work, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.

Holiday support:

Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may be expected to work additional days and extended hours. You may also be required to work on the holiday itself, which can include weekends.

Department resets:

You may be part of a team that installs and resets Hallmark fixtures, relocates card departments and products, and resets card sections. These assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration:

As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you will collaborate with other merchandisers and support teammates as needed across territories.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or step ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capacity to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to operate a digital handheld device and interpret information.

Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.

Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
