Inkling is seeking a mid-level Account Manager to join our growing team, based in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for someone with an agency, marketing, experiential, or creative services background who understands how complex projects move from idea to execution. Account Management means different things in different industries. At Inkling, this role requires experience supporting creative or production-led work, where timelines shift, stakeholders multiply, and clarity and communication are critical to success. Account Managers at Inkling are responsible for client stewardship and project health. You will be the connective tissue between clients and internal teams, ensuring projects stay organized, expectations stay aligned, and communication is timely, thoughtful, and clear. At Inkling you’ll… Serve as a primary point of contact for clients across assigned projects Lead day-to-day client communication, including timely email responses and meeting coordination Prepare and circulate meeting agendas, notes, and action items Coordinate calendars, calls, and working sessions with internal teams and clients Work closely with Project Leads, Producers, and Creative Leads to align on timelines and scope Track project progress, flag risks, and help keep work on schedule Support project onboarding and kickoffs by helping define goals, roles, and success metrics Monitor scope and support budget and profitability awareness Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the lifecycle of a project Qualifications

What this role requires 3–5 years of account management or client services experience in an

agency, marketing, experiential, or creative services environment Strong understanding of how creative or production projects are planned and delivered Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfort managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Docs, Calendar, and Slides A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Preferred credentials

Experience supporting experiential, event, digital, or integrated marketing projects Familiarity with production timelines and creative workflows Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, production or similar discipline The Perks
