Socket Fiber is looking for a
Territory Sales Representative
to join our residential sales team. In this role, you’ll go
door-to-door
in targeted neighborhoods, connecting with homeowners and introducing them to the power of Socket’s fiber internet. You’ll educate, engage, and close sales that directly support your neighbors—and your goals. No traditional sales background required
— we train competitive, coachable, energetic people. No telecom experience necessary. Compensation
Compensation : Guaranteed base pay + uncapped commission with clear milestones Location
Location : Primarily field work in the
Columbia, Missouri
area. We are actively hiring in the following markets: Columbia, Fulton, Prathersville, Sturgeon, Centralia, Ashland, Hallsville, Harrisburg, Boonville, Rocheport, Huntsdale, and Millersburg. A Day in the Life
You’ll start your shift reviewing your route and checking for follow-up leads. Then head into the field—walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and having real conversations with potential customers. Some people will be ready to sign up on the spot, while others might need more info or a follow-up. You’ll log activity, stay positive, and keep moving. Evening hours are common, and you’ll work some Saturdays to catch people at home. You’re supported—but this is your territory to grow. What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities Include: Walk neighborhoods and talk with residents about switching to Socket Fiber Build rapport quickly and create a great first impression Use tools and training to explain our services and answer questions Close sales and log activity in our CRM system Follow up with leads and coordinate with the install team Share field insights with the team to improve outreach strategies Represent Socket professionally and follow all safety guidelines Desired Attributes
