Experience managing or contributing to professional social media accounts, particularly Instagram and/or YouTube Experience creating Instagram posts, weekly campaigns, building meaningful engagement, and increasing followers Experience uploading YouTube videos, creating video descriptions, and reviewing videos to provide edits to a video editor Experience with Canva for graphic design projects Experience with project management tools Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate complex or personal stories into clear, engaging public-facing content Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines Demonstrated care, discretion, and professionalism when working with personal stories and community-centered content Preferred

Experience telling human-centered stories in educational, nonprofit, or public service contexts Experience working with large content libraries or archives and translating existing assets into new formats Ability to follow an established strategy while exercising strong editorial judgment and creative decision-making Familiarity with accessibility best practices for social media, including captioning, alt text, and inclusive design Interest in or connection to educational outreach, college access, or public engagement storytelling
