This is a full-time, Outside Sales position based out of Mentor, OH. Base salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 with

NO CAP

on commission and realistic opportunity to make $200,000+ annually! Our client is a wholesale distributor of roofing/aluminum products, building supplies and multiple roofing products. Outside Sales Representatives at my client have exclusive sales tools to enhance their success in business-to-business selling and have high earning potential. In this role, you will sell building supplies and industrial products to contractor customers, and Builders. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager on ways to strategically build new relationships with prospective customers in the industry. In addition, you will provide your customers with superior service as you assist them with a full range of products and services to meet their contracting needs. Specific duties may include: Cultivating and managing customer relationships Build relationships with Builders/Contractors using sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns Making cold calls to prospective customers when needed Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers Following up with customers and providing solutions should a service concern arise Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services Requirements

Specific qualifications include: College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience Specific industry knowledge including current sales with roofing, siding product lines and the overall building contractor process; book of business required Knowledge and experience of window and siding materials, roofing and siding is preferred Previous roofing and siding sales experience is required, working with builder and contractor relationships Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company requirements Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Benefits include: Excellent car allowance, computer, and phone; includes health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out-of-pocket 401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vested Employer-paid employee assistance program Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability
