Surfline Wavetrak, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, us, 33336
Overview
Our Camera Operations team powers Surfline’s global network of live streaming surf cameras. We’re looking for an organized, high-energy Inside Sales Associate to help build our pipeline of new camera host locations. You’ll focus on early-stage outreach, structured discovery, and advancing qualified opportunities through clear proposals and light negotiation. The role emphasizes a clean, disciplined process that turns warm leads into confirmed camera hosts. This position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from any location along the Atlantic coast of Florida under Surfline’s Work from Anywhere policy. What You'll Do
High-velocity outreach & qualification
Run daily call blocks to make first contact, conduct discovery, and qualify opportunities. Move efficiently through prioritized lead lists to reach a clear yes/no within 1–2 conversations.
Discovery & proposals
Confirm site and host fit through structured discovery. Assemble templated proposals, track engagement, and advance opportunities toward signature.
Light negotiation & closing
Negotiate within predefined commercial rails; escalate non-standard terms to senior team members. Send templated agreements and convert qualified opportunities to signed hosts.
Operational discipline
Maintain tight cost awareness; seek the simplest, most cost-efficient path to yes. Keep pipelines updated with crisp notes, next steps, and zero stale opportunities. Ensure clean, complete handoffs to Install Readiness with ≥95% checklist accuracy.
Cross-functional collaboration
Partner with Field Operations for feasibility checks and on-the-ground insights. Coordinate with Legal on standard agreements and exceptions. Provide feedback that strengthens future lead lists.
Occasional travel
Light, as-needed travel for regional recon, strategic host visits, or regional outreach blitzes.
What We're Looking For
1–3 years of experience in inside sales, SDR work, partnerships outreach, or lead qualification. Confident phone presence and strong discovery skills. Crisp communication: clear writing, active listening, and ability to mirror tone and pace. High personal organization: disciplined follow-up, excellent time management, and strong CRM hygiene. Comfortable working across time zones with some asynchronous coordination. Familiarity with: Attio, Apollo, Hunter, PandaDoc, OpenPhone, Google Maps, LinkedIn. You May Also Have
Prior experience with municipalities, councils, or property owners. Familiarity with streaming or CCTV fundamentals. Experience with Jira/Confluence. Passion for ocean-going activities. About Surfline Wavetrak
