Account Manager I

Irvine, CA – onsite, 5 days per week Overview
The Account Manager drives client growth and satisfaction with Weedmaps. Your success will be measured on revenue generation, churn minimization, and billing collection. Responsibilities
Manage a book of business to meet and exceed revenue and retention goals. Provide insights and recommendations to clients on how to grow with Weedmaps marketing solutions based on data. Collaborate with Account Executives to drive value and capture opportunities in CRM. Increase client proficiency through training and platform usage. Maintain client data hygiene and update CRM during calls, meetings, and billing events. Proactively communicate billing updates and drive collection efforts. Relay client feedback to improve products and processes, enhancing client success. Qualifications
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of digital sales or account management experience; client-facing role. Proven track record of hitting revenue targets. Data‑oriented, analytical sales approach. Customer‑centric relationship builder who shares feedback to drive long‑term momentum. Confidence presenting to clients (onsite or phone) to influence credibly. Comfort operating at an accelerated pace in a dynamic environment. Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail. Experience in the cannabis industry (preferred). Benefits
