The Sr Retail Coordinator, Floral plays a key role in driving the profitability of their assigned outlet within Kohler Retail. As a leader, this position is responsible for managing sales associates, recruiting new talent, developing team members, and providing ongoing feedback to achieve established goals and objectives. Merchandise in the store should consistently reflect the brand’s high standards—aligned with the decor, of premium quality, and representative of the status of Kohler, Wisconsin. Additionally, the Senior Retail /Floral Coordinator should be proficient in inventory processing, with a solid understanding of retail logistics and related systems.

PROFITABILITY AND SALES OBJECTIVES
Work closely with the Floral and Design Specialist to set goals that will increase sales and services. Assist and support in the day to day operations of the floral storefront. Manage floral shop weekly scheduling and organize daily task sheets. Participate in financial reporting. Organize weekly event orders. Manage inventory and price updates. Uphold current inventory control levels. Work with the floral and Design Specialist to maintain planned cost of sales. Consistently and creatively merchandise the store in such a way as to promote maximum sales and minimal losses. Assist in the creation and maintenance of department documents, new‑hire and training manuals. Actively assist in finding efficiencies within the department to streamline processes. Oversee the installation timeline of storefront display. Perform guest facing tasks. Answer department calls. Take guest floral orders and requests. Complete deliveries to outlet businesses and department orders. LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Lead sales staff to engage with the guest to ensure a gracious experience. Supervise, train, and evaluate personnel. Work in collaboration with the Floral and Design Specialist to initiate and execute sales strategies and programs to motivate the sales team. Ensure adherence to the Hospitality & Real Estate dress and grooming policy. Ensure associates are engaging in Gracious Hospitality by D.E.S.I.G.N. Create a positive and collaborative team environment. DIRECT STORE PLANNING EFFORTS
Work with the Buyer‑Kohler Retail to ensure inventory levels are sufficient. Work to ensure “best‑sellers” need to be placed in a timely manner. Adjust merchandise as needed to meet seasonal and planned needs. Consistently maintain visual standards and displays for floor leadership. Maintain current signage and update sales floor as necessary. PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND PROMOTION
In coordination with the Floral and Design Specialist, establish in‑store promotions and events as needed to drive top‑line sales. Maintain public relations awareness within the community. Coordinate details for successful events, in‑store workshops and promotions as planned. Evaluate the success of events based on sales, feedback and attendance. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Provide sales recaps utilizing current POS and inventory tracking reports. Supervise annual inventory. Maintain office areas and stockrooms in an organized manner. Supervise general cleaning of assigned shop by staff. Order necessary office and packaging supplies. Responsible for determining the daily “to‑do” list in assigned shop. In collaboration with the buyer, plan and execute store merchandising moves. Shifts vary between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on weekdays and weekends. SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years’ retail experience and Floral shop knowledge required with previous experience in receiving and inventory. Five (5) or more years of retail experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years old. Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel and Word. Must have a valid driver’s license.
