Role Overview
This role partners closely with Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, Analytics, and Finance teams to design, execute, and optimize advanced lifecycle and growth marketing strategies. The focus is on driving customer acquisition, retention, engagement, upgrades, and trial conversion through data-driven, AI-enabled, omni-channel programs.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Product Marketing, GTM, Analytics, and Finance to evaluate business problems and size the impact of segmentation, audiences, and cohort-based strategies
Craft and execute advanced lifecycle strategies across email, SMS, push notifications, in-product experiences, and landing pages
Apply segmentation techniques including cohort age, behavioral scoring, product engagement signals, and AI/ML-informed intent signals
Leverage data-driven insights and predictive models to improve customer experience and maximize retention
Drive attach, upgrade, retention, and trial conversion strategies
Implement gamification best practices to increase adoption, build habit loops, and improve engagement across lifecycle stages
Build and manage detailed program schedules, including kickoff, campaign development, QA, legal review, deployment, and results tracking
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate timelines clearly across teams
Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product Marketing, Engineering, Data, Marketing Ops, Analytics, Creative, and Legal teams (no direct reports)
Define and track key performance indicators, including revenue impact, ROI, retention, and customer growth
Recommend and execute test plans (A/B testing, incremental lift analysis) to optimize onboarding, trial conversion, growth, and retention strategies
Analyze test results in partnership with analysts and recommend optimization opportunities
Write creative briefs and manage creative development with content, visual designers, and developers
Secure legal approval for marketing assets
Partner with Marketing Operations to document launch requirements
Launch full-scale programmatic campaigns with hands-on execution including copywriting, journey mapping, and flow QA
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience driving growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, and personalization initiatives for SaaS products
Strong ability to leverage advanced analytics and AI, including ML models, GenAI, recommendation systems, and propensity modeling
Broad CRM channel expertise (email, push, SMS, in-product), with deep hands-on experience in at least one channel
Experience delivering AI-driven marketing solutions applied to real-world business use cases
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and collaboration tools such as Miro or Mural
Experience using analytics and reporting dashboards such as Tableau and Amplitude
Familiarity with project management tools including Quickbase, Workfront, Asana, or Jira
Experience using creative and prototyping tools such as Figma or Canva
Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (confirmed with Hiring Manager)
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing – highly preferred
