About The Role\nOur client is seeking a

Compliance Specialist I

to support a high-volume compliance and data review function. This role is focused on accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established processes.

If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable working through structured workflows, and able to handle a steady volume of requests without cutting corners, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Review and pre-screen requests for accuracy and compliance

Validate documentation and data changes

Perform data verification and basic research to reduce risk and errors

Communicate clearly with internal teams and external contacts as needed

Track, document, and maintain compliance records

Follow defined procedures and quality standards

Respond to escalated items in a timely, professional manner

This position involves

repetitive, detail-focused work

and requires strong attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, vendor management, accounts payable, procurement, or administrative operations

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred But Not Required

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments

Exposure to ERP or financial systems

Requirements

Must live and work in the State of Georgia

Regulatory Compliance Specialist – Alcoholic Beverages

(see all locations below; hybrid)\nWe are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Legal and Compliance team supporting our regulatory and compliance function across all locations and brands. The Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for state level compliance including, but not limited to, maintenance of state alcohol licensing, state brands registrations and state reporting, as well as supporting additional administrative and organizational tasks as needed. The Regulatory Specialist will report to the Director of Compliance for the Beverage Division. This role is open to our locations in Atlanta/Portland/Bend/NYC/Littleton.

Roles and Responsibilities

Alongside the Director of Compliance, maintain out-of-state shipper licenses across the alcoholic beverage division, including renewals and record-keeping.\nManage state brand registration submissions and communication with state regulatory agencies. This includes the submission of new registrations, updating existing registrations, and tracking and maintaining renewals across all brands.\nMaintain and update internal tracking of state brand registrations that serves as single point of information across functions.\nManage state reporting for out-of-state shipper’s licenses, submit monthly reports in all states and monitor and respond to requests for information and/or invoices from regulatory agencies.\nCommunicate with Sales and Business Development teams to provide updates on state level compliance as needed.\nSupport Director of Compliance with other compliance and legal matters.\nPerform regulatory research and assist in ensuring state compliance requirements are updated when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited institution\n2+ years’ experience in alcoholic beverage industry\nKnowledge of the three-tier system and state alcohol beverage compliance\nFamiliarity with navigating regulatory portals\nExperience interfacing with government regulators\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) solutions\nAbility to generate, manipulate, and decipher reporting data as it relates to CPG sales\nExperience with ShipCompliant or a similar software a strong plus\nExperience with OBeer or similar software a strong plus

Compensation

USD $55-60k/annually dependent on experience.

Review scanned documents for completeness, legibility, and accuracy, ensuring they align with set standards.\nConduct quality control checks to identify missing pages, improper alignment, or distortion in scanned files.\nVerify the integrity of document images by comparing them with original documents when necessary.\nEnsure that all scanned documents are correctly indexed and filed according to company protocols.\nFlag discrepancies or errors and provide feedback to the scanning team for necessary corrections.\nMaintain detailed records of quality control checks, highlighting trends or recurring issues.\nCollaborate with the scanning and document management teams to improve document quality and scanning processes.\nPerform additional duties related to document management as assigned.\nQualifications:
