Crop Insurance Sales Agent

A well-established agricultural organization is seeking an experienced Crop Insurance Sales Agent to join its team. This role is ideal for a proven ag sales professional with existing farmer relationships who understands risk management and enjoys operating as a trusted advisor to producers. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain long-term relationships with row crop and specialty crop producers Sell and service multi-peril crop insurance (MPCI) and related risk management products Provide in-depth guidance on coverage options, endorsements, and compliance requirements Support clients through acreage reporting, policy changes, claims, and renewals Grow and manage a profitable book of business within the assigned territory Stay current on USDA/RMA rules, products, and deadlines Work closely with internal operations and underwriting teams Qualifications Current Crop Insurance License 3+ years of crop insurance sales experience preferred Strong understanding of MPCI, private products, and ag risk management Existing producer relationships and book of business a plus Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage territory independently Agriculture background strongly preferred What We Offer Competitive, performance-based compensation and excellent benefits Established platform with strong operational support Marketing and sales support resources Flexibility and autonomy in managing your territory Long-term growth opportunity with a stable ag organization All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
