About the Role As a
Consulting Principal - AI Business Product Manager , you will make an impact by defining the product
vision, strategy, and roadmap
for AI‑powered solutions. You will partner with stakeholders to identify high‑value AI use cases, work with engineering to deliver with
speed‑to‑value , and guide clients through responsible AI adoption—turning discovery into scalable outcomes. Locations for this role include
NYC
and
Basking Ridge, NJ
(hybrid).
In this Role, You Will
Own and articulate the
product vision, strategy, and roadmap ; drive cross‑functional alignment and decision‑making.
Translate business objectives into
prioritized AI use cases
with measurable outcomes; produce discovery outputs (use‑case summaries, readiness insights, next steps).
Lead
agile product delivery
with engineering and solution architects; ensure quality, time‑to‑market, and adoption.
Facilitate stakeholder
workshops and interviews ; synthesize feedback and market/competitor insights into the product backlog.
Shape delivery plans across
Strategy, Packaged AI Solutions, and Build‑Run‑Scale
engagements; track early value indicators to de‑risk scale‑up.
Maintain structured, repeatable
playbooks and templates ; capture lessons learned to continuously improve AI delivery.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
10–15 years
of product management experience, including
3+ years in AI product management .
Proven record shipping digital/data/AI products in
agile
environments; strong analytical skills and product documentation rigor.
Ability to
translate business needs
into clear, testable requirements and user stories; strong communication with executive and technical audiences.
Comfort facilitating
discovery workshops , defining success metrics, and building stakeholder confidence to scale AI safely and responsibly.
Bachelor’s degree
required;
Master’s preferred . Role requires vetting by an experienced AI product leader and AI technical architect.

Compensation · $122,400-$165,000
· This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
