Role Summary

The Regional Access Director (RAD) will lead a regional team of Field Access Managers to ensure appropriate patient access. The role acts as a subject matter expert on payer and reimbursement matters, patient services, and pharmacy processes, drawing on deep experience in reimbursement, patient access, and healthcare provider support services, and providing leadership to execute complex operations and develop a high-performing team. Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of Field Access Managers (FAMs) across geographies. Support FAMs in enhancing customer awareness of payer requirements, patient support offerings, and specialty pharmacy processes. Serve as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders, Regional Executive Directors, and Field Access Managers to ensure a positive patient and provider experience throughout the patient journey. Collaborate with Regional Executive Directors to ensure aligned customer engagement and compliant delineation of Sales and Access responsibilities, with joint regional problem solving. Provide field-based insights to inform leadership decisions on payer strategy, patient affordability programs, and other access-related initiatives. Analyze access barriers and help the team address them using available tools and resources. Assist in developing metrics and reporting tools to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of the Field Access Managers. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient access and compliance. Monitor and assess reimbursement trends, payer coverage, and changes in the access environment. Qualifications

Required: Minimum 15 years in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry. Required: Prior leadership experience managing field access managers. Required: Prior reimbursement or case management experience; prior field access/reimbursement experience preferred. Required: Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships with commercial field leaders and drive joint execution in a matrix environment. Required: Experience with pharmacy benefit reimbursement/access and specialty pharmacy. Required: Strong prioritization and decision-making capabilities. Preferred: CPC or similar coding certification. Preferred: Experience in the cardiometabolic area. Required: Knowledge of Medicare policies such as Part D design and IRA. Required: Proven teamwork and collaboration skills in highly matrixed, cross-functional teams. Required: Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary; approximately 50% travel within territory. Required: Must live within assigned geography. Required: Valid driver’s license. Education

Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Location
