Executive Summary: Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO) is a nonprofit civil legal aid organization serving northwest and west central Ohio. LAWO provides comprehensive legal services to low-income individuals and families across a 32-county service area, in close partnership with Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE). LAWO is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director to build on its strong foundation, expand impact advocacy, and strengthen long-term sustainability. The next leader will deepen community relationships, diversify revenue—particularly private philanthropy—and steward core funding through the Legal Services Corporation (LSC). LAWO seeks an experienced, collaborative leader with nonprofit or legal services experience, strong fundraising and communication skills, and a commitment to equity and justice. A law degree is required. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, with an annual salary range of $160,000–$200,000. Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Board of Directors and serving as LAWO's primary spokesperson, the Executive Director will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensure financial and regulatory compliance, and strengthen partnerships across the legal, philanthropic, and community sectors. Qualifications
