Position Summary
Responsible for designing and creating packaging and product artwork in support of manufacturing requirements across General Surgery product lines. The role requires converting customer requirements into standardized artwork while ensuring compliance with established design standards.
Responsibilities • Handle graphic design needs for instructions for use, user manuals, and product documentation. • Support formal artwork approvals and labeling development procedures. • Create editorial illustrations, layouts, and creative artwork. • Provide guidance on graphic design technologies and best practices. • Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver cost-efficient designs. • Support reproduction and printing processes using in-house or external vendors. • Review vendor proofs, request corrections, and ensure printed components match approved artwork. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changes in scope or priorities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues during artwork development. • Maintain strong communication and organizational skills.
Education Required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Top 3 skills required • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and XML-based authoring tools. • Strong collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams. • Experience creating graphics for instructional content (product illustrations, procedural steps, layout of software screens, etc.).
