Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a dependable, proactive Customer Service Representative who must currently hold an active insurance license to support a fast-paced insurance agency. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of client needs from first contact through resolution and delivers accurate, professional service every day.
Key Responsibilities Manage client requests from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution with no handoffs or follow-up gaps Handle policy changes, billing questions, endorsements, and coverage inquiries with accuracy and professionalism Lead clear, solution-focused conversations with clients when issues, confusion, or concerns arise Proactively identify potential problems and address them before they escalate Follow established agency procedures while maintaining high documentation and compliance standards Meet daily activity, accuracy, and service performance expectations Support team workflow and contribute to a consistent, positive office environment What We're Looking For Takes personal ownership of work and follows through on every task and client interaction Comfortable handling direct, professional conversations with clients Reliable, consistent, and fully engaged in daily responsibilities Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a structured, fast-paced setting Willing to learn and apply agency systems, processes, and insurance products Qualifications Must currently hold an active Property & Casualty insurance license (required) Prior insurance or insurance agency experience strongly preferred (minimum 2 years) Customer service or office experience may be considered; however, this role requires someone who can step in quickly Higher compensation available for experienced candidates Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with basic office technology and CRM systems Professional demeanor and dependable attendance Compensation & Benefits Pay up to $55,000 annually, based on experience Full benefits available after successful completion of probation period Work Environment
