About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the Director of Credit Risk Management! We are looking for a visionary leader to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge credit risk policies and procedures specifically designed for the construction sector, focusing on receivable financing products. You will take charge of monitoring and assessing credit risk exposures while providing expert guidance to the credit risk team.
Your role will involve conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments for our construction clients and innovating our existing framework to enhance scalability. You will analyze credit risk trends and stay updated on industry-specific developments and regulatory changes.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related fields (Master's preferred) and at least 7 years of experience in credit risk management, especially in Asset-Based Lending, Invoice Factoring, or Receivable Financing. A strong grasp of credit risk modeling, financial statements, and legal requirements is essential, along with excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with legal frameworks related to credit risk management in the construction finance sector is a plus, as is experience in a startup environment. As the Director of Credit Risk Management, you will build and monitor credit transactions, prepare insightful credit risk reports, and foster a collaborative and innovative work culture.
