Position Summary

Primary Purpose The Outreach & Graphic Design Coordinator assists the Marketing Manager with graphic design, web maintenance, outreach, and special projects to increase the visibility and brand recognition of the Thrasher-Horne Center. This position supports marketing initiatives, community engagement efforts, and event-related activities while contributing to a consistent and professional brand presence. Duties and Responsibilities

Outreach & Event Support • Coordinate and manage Thrasher-Horne Center outreach at community events to increase brand visibility. • Assist with pre-show preparations, including lobby setup, marketing tables, and night-of-show marketing activities. • Capture high-quality photographs at performances, events, and gallery openings for promotional and archival use. • Facilitate artist interviews and assist with generating media and news story leads. • Assist with gallery operations, including securing artists and coordinating gallery openings. Graphic Design & Marketing Support • Assist in the design and production of promotional materials, including flyers, show graphics, and digital content. • Support print advertising campaigns, including obtaining quotes from vendors. • Research social media platform updates and recommend strategies to enhance online engagement and return on investment. • Support marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager. Web, Administrative & Operational Support • Review, update, and maintain website content, images, and documents. • Provide recommendations to improve website usability and search engine optimization. • Prepare invoices, tear sheets, and documentation for show settlements. • Provide administrative support including content editing, proofreading, and daily office operations. Area of Travel and Job Duty Requirement • Local travel

within a 50-miles

of the primary work location is required. • Travel responsibilities may account for

up to 25% of total job duties

and may include transporting and setting up promotional materials, displays, and equipment. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Coursework or training in business administration, social media, journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred. • Customer service experience required. • Marketing, communications, or graphic design experience preferred. • Computer proficiency required. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally required. • A comparable combination of training and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to analyze data to support marketing strategies. • Knowledge of website management systems or ability to quickly learn new platforms. • Experience using graphic design software; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred. • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, copiers, and telephones. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as required for events.
