Part‑Time Sales Associate — Mooresville ReStore
Location: Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region – Mooresville ReStore, 121 Norman Station Blvd, Mooresville, NC 28117. Pay: $17.75 per hour. Hours: Part‑time, up to 25 hours per week.

About the Role We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part‑Time Sales Associate to join our Mooresville ReStore team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales goals, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and determine their needs to provide helpful guidance.
Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate product benefits effectively.
Support sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions at the point‑of‑sale.
Handle customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating as needed.
Collaborate with team members to reach store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
Support promotional activities and special events to boost engagement and sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Comfortable learning new products and point‑of‑sale systems.
Strong communication skills and a desire to help customers.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Required Education High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer applications.
