The Associate Director of IT Disaster Recovery will spearhead disaster recovery operations and governance, focusing on application and infrastructure disaster recovery plan development, maintenance, program governance, and comprehensive testing protocols. This critical leadership position aims to maintain the continuity and resilience of essential systems and data during disruptions. You will collaborate with diverse IT and business teams to craft effective disaster recovery strategies, rigorously test and validate plans, and establish efficient recovery processes. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and sustain thorough disaster recovery plans for vital IT systems and infrastructure. Align IT disaster recovery strategies with overarching business continuity and risk management goals. Lead the entire lifecycle of disaster recovery testing, including scheduling, planning, facilitating execution, training, and post-test evaluations. Engage closely with IT, security, and business teams to embed disaster recovery strategies into the broader IT and business continuity framework. Deliver training and awareness initiatives on disaster recovery protocols to IT personnel and key stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of DR plans and processes. Create reports for senior leadership outlining the status of DR initiatives, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other leaders in disaster recovery to ensure that management systems and tools effectively support the DR strategy and enhance program maturity. Provide valuable feedback on the efficiency of disaster recovery solutions in meeting organizational needs. Act as a Subject Matter Expert during disaster events or system failures, guiding recovery efforts and resource distribution. Conduct post-incident reviews to extract lessons learned and recommend actionable corrections. A proactive, results-driven leader with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, business continuity, or disaster recovery, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. A passion for contributing to a team that focuses on transforming disaster recovery and enhancing best practices within an organization dedicated to continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., DRII, CBCP, etc.) is preferred. Certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a bonus. Additional Information

Work-from-Home Requirements

High-speed DSL or cable modem is necessary for a home office. Employees in California will receive compensation for internet costs. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) is mandatory. Satellite and wireless internet services are not permitted for this role. A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information is essential. Travel: While remote work is available, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 Pay Range

The compensation range below represents a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications. $142,300 - $195,700 per year This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on organizational and/or individual performance.
