At Diversify Bx, we recognize the vital role of the Behavior Intervention Specialist in implementing effective treatment plans. As a specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver individualized clinical behavior reduction programs and guidance based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, working with clients across various settings including home, community, center, and school environments. You will collect and document progress data on skill acquisition programs consistently during each session and report any concerns or new behavioral observations to the clinical supervision team within a 24-hour timeframe.
The role encompasses a series of responsibilities, including administration, case management, clinical duties, and internal communications. Note that the components of this position may evolve based on the needs of Diversify Bx, LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct ABA services in both individual and group settings under the guidance of the clinical supervisor.
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies as prescribed by the clinical supervisor.
Collect and maintain data on client progress during each session.
Utilize our online data collection platform to keep client information updated in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as directed by the clinical supervisor.
Apply safe and effective behavior modification strategies while working with clients.
Ensure client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Continuously develop ABA knowledge and skills by participating in required training sessions and meetings.
Achieve and maintain required competencies related to your role responsibilities.
Reporting Relationships:
The Behavior Intervention Specialist will report directly to the Clinical Supervision Team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
CPR or BLS Certification Preferred
Registered Behavior Technician Credential Preferred
NPI Number Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to accept constructive feedback and adapt professional skills accordingly.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Professional appearance as per Diversify Bx's dress code policy.
Proficiency in technology usage (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet).
Ability to implement clinical protocols with confidence.
Adherence to organizational policies and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s ethical guidelines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Physical Requirements:
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
Readiness to be physically present at assigned job locations.
Reliable access to a phone and internet.
Access to reliable transportation for travel between job sites within 25 miles of your residence.
Preferred possession of a valid California Driver's License; those without a license must ensure a HIPAA-compliant commuting method.
Valid insurance coverage with the employee included as a covered driver.
