As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality ABA services and will be supported by a dedicated clinical supervision team. Your primary responsibilities will involve implementing behavior reduction programs and clinical instruction grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in various settings, including homes, communities, centers, and schools. You will diligently collect data on skill acquisition and behaviors throughout each session, ensuring all findings and concerns are reported to the clinical supervision team within 24 hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct ABA services in both 1:1 and group settings under the guidance of clinical supervisors. Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals as prescribed by the supervising clinician. Accurately collect and maintain data on client progress during every session, utilizing our online data collection platform. Effectively communicate client progress and any concerns with parents and caregivers as directed. Employ safe and effective behavior modification strategies. Adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines to maintain client confidentiality. Keep a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment. Attend required staff training sessions to ensure ongoing professional development in ABA. Achieve competency in the role's responsibilities. Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Clinical Supervision Team. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. CPR or BLS Certification is preferred. Registered Behavior Technician Credential preferred. NPI Number required. Skills Needed: Willingness to accept constructive feedback and improve skills accordingly. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance based on company dress code. Proficiency in technology (computer, smartphone, tablet). Ability to implement clinical protocols and guidelines effectively. Commitment to following organizational policies and the ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dedication to continuous training in Applied Behavior Analysis. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. Capability to maintain various postures such as kneeling, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to engage in quick movements as part of client interventions. Reliable internet-capable phone access, necessary for communication. Possess reliable transportation for travel between sites within 25 miles of your home. California Driver’s License is preferred; alternative arrangements must guarantee HIPAA-compliant transportation.
