What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers
)
Serve as a clinical consultant and thought partner to community nursing leadership in the Nevada and VA markets Guide Managed Community (MC) teams in the creation and implementation of action plans addressing risk, compliance, and patient safety Coach and mentor new Directors of Nursing and Directors of Wellness, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability Support regulatory compliance through policy implementation, internal audits, documentation review, and survey preparation Lead and evaluate post-incident risk management processes and provide direction to reduce future events Oversee Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts, partnering with other HDG clinical pillars Analyze trended quality and operational data and report findings to HDG executive leadership Support HDG’s Rapid Response system and PREP (Positive Review & Evaluation Process) services Build strong relationships with MC operators, ensuring collaboration, transparency, and aligned goals
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Clinical Leadership & Compliance
)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada, required 5+ years of nursing experience, with 3–5 years in clinical leadership—multisite/regional experience preferred Deep understanding of federal, Nevada, and VA regulatory compliance in skilled nursing and long-term care Strong knowledge of MDS/RAI, risk management, and loss prevention strategies Tech-savvy with solid experience in Microsoft Office Suite and PointClickCare (preferred) Proven success in mentoring leaders, building culture, and producing quality outcomes Willingness and ability to travel extensively to assigned MCs
