An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event space, Andaz Miami Beach will become a landing spot for guests and locals seeking celebratory gatherings that embrace the city's culture of music, art, and fashion.Position SummaryThe Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for maximizing overall hotel revenue across rooms, food & beverage, and event spaces. This leader will design and implement competitive pricing and distribution strategies, ensuring Andaz Miami Beach outperforms its market rivals.Key responsibilities include:Driving topline revenue and profitability through strategic inventory managementProducing accurate forecasts to set ambitious yet achievable hotel goalsSupporting sales & marketing initiatives with data-driven insightsMentoring and developing revenue analysts, reservations, and operations managersOverseeing reservations and upsell programs to optimize guest spendPosition Responsibilities/ Essential Functions Analyze short- and long-term forecasting, analyze trends in group inventories & rates to includeoccupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals. Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production. Ensure that allmajor channels of distribution effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity. Conduct a weekly strategy meeting to evaluate pricing strategies and availability control. Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions. Receive all definite and tentative group bookings and provide the General Manager with qualifiedanalysis of how each booking will impact occupancy, average rate and rooms profit over the dates in question. Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure positive growth. Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance. Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through competitive shops, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends. Work to drive appropriate market mix and segmentation for the resort to maximize revenue, ADR, and REVPAR index within Competitive Set Lead resort to deliver best in class results when compared to luxury lifestyle comp. set. KPIs to include: Total Revenue, ADR, REVPAR, RMI Index, Business Mix and TREVPAR Explore and provide variations in the market mix, which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs. Work on all Revenue Management projects as requested e.g. implementing formal End of Monthreporting process at each hotel, providing roll up reporting for corporate users and the brand team, etc. Develop and implement succession planning for Revenue Management talent.
