About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a pre-seed, AI-native fintech company as a critical member of our founding team. As the Director of Finance and Operations, you will play an essential role in building the operational and financial backbone of our business from the ground up. Collaborating closely with the CEO, you will become the strategic partner that drives our vision into a scalable, compliant, and financially sustainable enterprise.
What You'll Do:
Finance: Develop our financial framework for strategic planning and fundraising; heavily contribute to future fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A); and create effective accounting, payroll, and expense systems.
Operations: Establish an operational playbook for growth; manage legal and compliance matters in conjunction with legal counsel; and implement initial People Operations functions, including payroll and benefits.
Strategy: Act as a key advisor to the CEO and founding team on strategic business model decisions, pricing strategies, and long-term corporate planning.
Who You Are:
You are a proven operator with 5-8+ years of experience in high-performance environments such as startup finance, venture capital, or investment banking. You excel at financial modeling and thrive in dynamic environments where you can build from scratch. As a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator, you are deeply passionate about enhancing global financial wellness.
