Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and seasoned

Salesforce CRM Application Architect

who can lead the design and architecture for next-generation Member Engagement capabilities on our Salesforce platform. Reporting to the Director of Member Engagement CRM, the technology leader in this role will provide thought, technology engineering, architecture, delivery and operational leadership for all our lines of businesses. The Application Architect will closely work with Development managers, Lead developers, Enterprise architects to deliver best in class solutions for AmeriHealth Caritas. Individual in this role will heavily engage in Design, Architecture Alignment, Feature Evaluations, Triaging and Delivery. This position requires an experienced and deep technical hands-on leadership, capable of establishing development and architectural standards. Additionally, this individual would be a futuristic thought leader who will help define/contribute towards the next generation capability needs of the organization on Member Engagement Platform.

Work Arrangement

This is a 100% Remote position but you must live in EST or CST time zones

Responsibilities

Lead, evaluate and provide technical and architectural guidance to team members. Facilitates technical design discussions with various teams

Review developer's proposed design and architecture on day-to-day basis on highly complex and rapidly evolving Member CRM product on Salesforce platform

The design and implementation of multiple complex system integrations and Salesforce features

Working collaboratively with enterprise architecture team to ensure that the proposed solution is aligned with enterprise architecture direction.

Ensure team and solutions follow AmeriHealth SDLC practices, Standards and Enterprise Architecture guidelines

Lead solution architecture for application enhancements.

Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components.

Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution.

Design, develop, code and test programs from specifications

Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specifications, operation guides, process flows, and other technical schematics.

Ensure the Salesforce solutions adherence to Salesforce CoE standards

Evaluates technical performance challenges and recommends tuning solutions.

Participate in agile development methodology to drive the outcomes

Collaborate and engage with key IT stakeholders and business leaders in the organization regularly

Maintains team awareness of information security requirements and scalability issues during design and development.

Provide updates to the Director and other IS and Business Leadership on progress, risks, and barriers of development efforts.

Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and output at all times

Contribute to the Salesforce strategic vision and roadmap for the evolution of Salesforce

Education and Experience

At least ten (10)+ years of relevant work experience in Applications design, development and architect roles

At least six (6)+ years in architecting or a Salesforce CRM ecosystem, with extensive experience in transforming and implementing large scale programs for enterprises on the Salesforce platform as well as Sales Cloud,

Service Cloud, Health Cloud,

Experience Cloud

Experience in Health Cloud for the Healthcare Payer or Life Sciences industries with knowledge of business capabilities, business processes and workflows in the areas of Omni-Channel Contact Center, Member Services and Medical Management is preferred

Deep technical experience in managing development activities leveraging Salesforce technologies like Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Open CTI, Salesforce Mobile, SSO, Platform Events, REST and SOAP APIs

Well experienced in future state architecture and roadmap planning with focus on intake planning for competing business imperatives

Experience developing and operating business capabilities utilizing Omni Studio, Data mask, Einstein AI capabilities, Shield, Tableau CRM and other AppExchange products like Conga, Odaseva etc.

Prior experience in establishing Salesforce integrations with upstream/downstream applications leveraging industry standard integration patterns, techniques and tools (e.g. MuleSoft, Apigee, IBM MQ, IBM DataStage, CTI etc.)

Prior experience in managing the application delivery lifecycle functions for the Salesforce CRM ecosystem from ideation through planning, design, development, testing and rollout phases under different SDLC methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall .etc.), development of custom forms and intelligent workflows with integrations

Prior experience in managing a 7x24 Production operations for the Salesforce application inclusive of Application administration, Application monitoring, Capacity Planning, Production incident management, Application Release Management, Change Management, Security patching functions, with knowledge of deployment tools, processes and best practices

Bachelor's degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Life Sciences; Master's degree preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Salesforce Application and System architect certification preferred

Be excellent in multi-tasking including managing multiple large complex initiatives simultaneously and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate changing priorities

Be comfortable as a change agent - challenge the status quo and bring about transformation in business and technology capability enablement

Have effective organization skills including high attention to detail and the ability to implement and influence change

Have excellent analytical and technical skills and be comfortable operating across cross-functional boundaries that includes both internal business and technology teams, external partners and solution implementation vendors
