Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope and budgets. Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs. Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to support estimates. Assist with preparing bid proposals and tender submissions. Track and report project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project documents. Provide support for value engineering initiatives and cost-saving measures. A background in construction, property, or related fields. Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation. Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
