
As the Data Quality Director at Epicor, you will spearhead a significant enterprise-wide effort aimed at ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across our billion-dollar software organization. You will take charge of creating and implementing a strategic data quality framework that enhances analytics, supports AI-driven products, and conforms to regulatory standards. What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and execute a comprehensive company-wide data quality strategy that aligns with business growth and compliance objectives.
Lead three specialized teams—Data Governance, Audit & Data Stewards, and Data Operations—comprising 10-20 dedicated professionals.
Design and implement automated governance controls, audit dashboards, and correction processes across various enterprise systems.
Communicate data quality metrics and insights to executive leadership and board-level committees effectively.
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including those in product development, marketing, finance, and external partners.
Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to ensure data accuracy exceeds 99.5%.
Cultivate a culture of data excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement within all teams.
What You Will Likely Bring:
At least 10 years of experience in data management, with a minimum of 7 years in leadership positions.
5+ years of experience in enterprise data governance and quality management.
Significant experience in managing large-scale data initiatives within $1B+ software organizations.
Expertise in data lake architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data technologies.
Proficiency with data quality tools (such as Informatica, Talend, DataRobot) and governance platforms (like Collibra, Alation).
Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (for example, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
Experience dealing with Salesforce, marketing, and finance data domains.

An advanced degree in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
Professional certifications in data management (CDMP, DAMA) or cloud platforms.
A background in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software products.
Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (like SOX, GDPR) and audit processes.
Exposure to AI applications in data validation and quality controls.
