The Payer Portal Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and centralized access to payer portals across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining RCM payer portals, managing access and credentials through password management software, and documenting clear, step-by-step processes so all SDB team members can efficiently access and utilize payer portals. This role works closely with internal teams and practice partners to resolve access issues, provide guidance, and support daily RCM operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and obtain administrative access to payer portals Collaborate with practices to secure missing or incomplete payer portal access Ensure password management software is accurate, up to date, and properly maintained Create and maintain clear, step-by-step training documentation for the password management platform and ticket submission processes Provide support and guidance to staff regarding portal access, permissions, and proper usage Address inquiries related to payer portals, password management, and access workflows Troubleshoot portal issues, resolve access challenges, and identify solutions to support daily operations Requirements

Experience with dental payer portal creation and maintenance Ability to troubleshoot portal issues and resolve password management challenges Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions to complex operational issues Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of the dental industry and customary practices Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, dental providers, and insurance companies Strong organizational and time management skills Travel

Position is primarily remote but may require occasional trips to the Nashville, TN Home Office Preferred Qualifications
