Responsible for leading, designing, and implementing advanced engineering strategies that ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of existing products, processes, and operations; develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements while driving a culture of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence throughout the organization; develop and execute the plant’s continuous improvement strategy in alignment with corporate goals and customer requirements; apply engineering knowledge to analyze, measure, and improve the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and production lines; drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, root cause analyses, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and cost reduction strategies; lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through daily performance reviews, Gemba walks, and workshops to optimize productivity and quality; support and sustain the 5S system and drive engagement from all departments in compliance with IATF 16949 standards; utilize Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, 5S, Hoshin Kanri, Takt Time Management, Standard Work, root cause analysis, Office 365, iNexus, and EASE software to perform duties; develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using tools such as iNexus, SAP, and EASE software; monitor and report continuous improvement metrics and cost savings; develop and conduct comprehensive Lean Manufacturing training sessions, covering core principles, tools, and techniques to drive waste elimination and process efficiency; manage and mentor project owners using practical problem solving to achieve operational savings, improve OEE, and meet safety objectives; manage scrap control, WIP optimization and layout improvements to maximize efficiency; and ensure compliance with all established industry safety and operational standards.
