Account Manager - Fabric
Location: Southfield, MI, US, 48033 Country/Region: United States Job Function: Sales Employment Type: Salary As a member of the automotive fabric team, the Account Manager will be responsible for key account management, new business pursuits, and customer support. The role includes: Leading key growth and account management initiatives in assigned product lines & customer basis Supporting the development & execution of specific customer strategies in support of, and in collaboration with regional, global sales strategies and goals Establishing & growing solid relationships with key customers including purchasing, engineering, and other relevant functions Supporting tech shows, technical presentations, and marketing efforts at OEM, Tier and internal customers Building Lear internal relationships with key global engineering & commercial team members Traveling as required to customer plants, fabric plants, and other locations Supporting overall fabric organization through various reporting, system and other functions Advantages of working at Lear in the fabric group include: Ownership and autonomy to grow customer bases, product lines, and new market entries Rapidly growing ground with industry leading sustainable product portfolio Opportunities for growth and career progression Your qualifications include: Undergraduate degree in engineering or business-related field 10+ years of experience in automotive fabric for seating, overhead systems, and other applications Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Understanding of basic finance elements Strong technical acumen Ability to operate autonomously and proactively Strong team player & ability to manage global cultures Bonus if you have: Spanish, Korean, or Japanese language skills Textile engineering, program management, or quality experience Seating or headliner, overhead systems, roller shade product experience Lear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.
