Estimator / Preconstruction – South Texas (Relocation Supported)
A well-established Texas-based General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction professional to support its growing South Texas operations.
This is a key hire driven by increased project awards and future pipeline, not a backfill. The successful individual will play a central role in winning work and shaping pursuits across the region.
The role
Lead and manage GC estimating efforts from early conceptual budgeting through final bid
Own pursuits on projects typically in the $50M–$150M+ range
Work closely with operations, subcontractors, and design partners
Support bidding across Education, Healthcare, Civic, and Corporate markets
Contribute to long-term preconstruction strategy and workload planning
Background they're looking for
Strong General Contractor estimating experience (end-to-end ownership required)
Comfortable leading large, complex pursuits independently
Experience in public or institutional work is highly relevant
Candidates with prior operations exposure (PM / Superintendent) are a plus
Subcontractor-only or heavy industrial backgrounds are unlikely to be a fit
Location & flexibility
Role is 100% in-office (South Texas)
