Sell to high-growth, venture-backed companies and the most technologically advanced customers. Compress decision cycles by penetrating accounts quickly and demonstrating value to customers. Understand a product in depth and communicate its value to customers. Manage strategic accounts, close new customers, and grow consumption. Collaborate with internal teams to allocate Databricks resources to break into new accounts and grow existing ones. Engage with executives to practitioner-level audiences to connect Databricks to business outcomes. Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and value creation for customers. Build internal and external plans for success. What we look for (Qualifications)
Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud. 6+ years of experience with Open Source technologies and build vs buy decision-making. 6-8 years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies. Creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion. Sales experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing new accounts. Actual compensation packages are based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, training, and location.
