Horizon Sports and Experiences (HS&E) includes the merger of Horizon Media's Scout Sports and Entertainment division and was created to provide a differentiated and comprehensive approach for clients engaging in sports and experiential marketing. With a fully-integrated service model, HS&E includes a core focus on IP creation and monetization, strategic advisory and consulting, media rights, sponsorship, sales, and experiential strategy and activation – transforming marketers' ability to more seamlessly and effectively leverage their brand assets, content, and engagement strategies to drive increased growth. In addition, given the transformative impact that Web3 and the metaverse are expected to have in both the sports and experiences arenas, Horizon Media's recently launched metaverse consultancy, Chapter & Verse, also resides under the expanded offerings of HS&E.
What You’ll Do HS&E is looking for an exceptional Account Coordinator to join our account team as an integral member supporting our new spirits client. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, extremely organized, a strong communicator and excels at building relationships.
Responsibilities
60% - Account Management
Support Supervisor and account team in management and execution of client sponsorship portfolios, activations, promotions and events
Develop and maintain property one-sheeters and partnership playbooks
Day-to-day account manager for select brands
Weekly Status calls with properties/brand teams
Take notes, disseminate next steps
Ensure all assets within partnerships are fulfilled
Traffick creative
Monitor programs/ promotions
Seek added value throughout term
Organize team documents (e.g., budget tracker, status grids) and maintain timelines to ensure all client deadlines are met
Respond to clients and rights holders in a timely manner
Ability to recap meetings by pulling pertinent information and transcribe all follow ups
Establish frameworks and templates for presentations decks and team projects; conduct research/outreach as needed
Conduct evaluations of partnerships and assess results with the assistance of team
Provide optimization recommendations to enhance partnerships
Be a sound listener during negotiation discussions and support Supervisor/team in developing strategy
Conduct landscape analysis to help uncover new opportunities
Coordinate logistics and execution of sponsorship-related events and promotions with respective rights holders
Build and foster open communication with clients and partners, providing the highest level of client service
15% - Strategic Planning
During management of partnerships, begin to think about ways to elevate deals to achieve client goals and exceed expectations
Ask questions when unsure but begin to think about solutions as well
Collaborate on the development of POVs for new sponsorship opportunities, as requested
Utilize creative and innovative thinking skills to develop marketing concepts and sponsorship activation strategies for Clients (pushing the envelope and thinking outside of the box)
Continue to strengthen understanding of the sports industry and areas of opportunity
25% - Relationship Management
Keep Supervisor updated on the status and timing of deliverables
Manage day-to-day communication and coordination between client and rights holders
Engage and effectively interact with cross-channel teams and client’s agency partners
Build and maintain long-term business relationships (internal and external)
Who You Are

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working on multiple partnerships and activations at a time
Passionate in the live events landscape and a desire to innovate and keep up with trends

Preferred Skills & Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of marketing experience at an agency, team, league, rights holder or brand with a proven performance record
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
Proven experience developing persuasive presentations
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
High level of flexibility, reliability, and dependability
Exceptional “can-do” attitude
Ability to work nights, weekends or travel for client programs and/or events
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations No requirements for certificates, licenses and/or registrations
Physical Activity and Work Environment Occasionally the employee might be asked to perform minimal physical activity in support of onsite event execution

Salary Range $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
