Job Summary
Municipal Aggregation is a unique retail electric sales channel that sells competitive electric rates to municipalities. This involves a great deal of channel-specific processes and procedures unique to the business unit and industry. The Municipal Aggregation Sales Analyst is primarily responsible for managing enrollment workflow and regulatory compliance of the opt out aggregation process. The Municipal Aggregation Sales Analyst will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure community contract expectations are met and in accordance with state rules. This position will also help to research issues, identify process efficiencies, and prepare and offer solutions that address issues. The analyst must be flexible, detail oriented, willing to learn, and able to prioritize multiple assignments to meet aggressive enrollment and marketing timelines established by state commissions, utilities, and individual community contract obligations.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Support the Municipal Aggregation business in achieving its sales and operational targets
Perform list management tasks guided by state commission and internal business rules
Coordinate the creation and filing of marketing materials and terms of service
Manage workflow for community opt out mailings with internal teams and external print vendors
Conduct queries, vlookups, and other methods of data comparison for quality assurance of mail lists
Develop detailed process documentation and process mapping to outline changes in program support
Provide a high level of customer service, continuous support, and engagement with peers and brokers
Research and analyze issues to identify root cause, propose and execute on solutions
Use critical thinking to seek ways to build, challenge, and add value within scope of assignments
Own key team processes and independently manage projects from start to finish
Manage peer workflow, lead cross-team projects or markets, and delegate assignments
Identify and coordinate system enhancements and peer training upon implementation
Education, Experience & Skill Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalency required
Minimum 6-years professional work experience required
Minimum 1-year experience with Municipal Aggregation preferred
Industry knowledge of the MWNE retail electricity markets prioritized
Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
Proficiency with vlookups and data analysis in Excel required
Ability to create, edit, or learn complex Excel macros highly valued
Experience with Salesforce, Landpower, and Snowflake preferred
Experience with AI tools, project management, and electric utility rules a plus
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships
Ability to multi-task and manage high volume of concurrent assignments
Ability to achieve quality work with overlapping deadlines
High attention to detail in work product and peer review of team deliverables
