Position Overview
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative who thrives on proactive outreach, building pipeline, and closing deals. This role is focused on phone and email-based selling, engaging both existing & legacy customers within an assigned geographic territory. This is a true sales role, not an order-taking or purely service position. You’ll be responsible for initiating conversations, uncovering opportunities, presenting solutions, and closing business—while building long-term relationships along the way Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate and grow sales within an assigned territory through consistent phone and email outreach Re-engage existing customers, revive dormant accounts, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities Own the full sales cycle—from first contact through quote, close, and follow-up Identify customer needs, timelines, and budgets, and position Display Sales’ products as the best solution Develop strong product knowledge across banners, flags, hardware, and decorative programs Create accurate quotes and proposals and follow up to move opportunities to close Track all activity, leads, and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce or similar) Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery Consistently work toward individual sales goals while contributing to team performance Maintain clear, professional communication that builds trust and repeat business Qualifications
2+ years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, or a phone-heavy B2B sales role Comfortable and confident making outbound calls and following up persistently Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close deals Organized, self-motivated, and accountable for results Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Municipal, government, or B2B sales experience a plus—but not required OTE (On Target Earnings) $70k (year 1), $85k+ (year 2), $100k+ (year3) Generous PTO (paid time off) package and paid Holidays
