Job Description
Custom manufacturer in the Dallas area is looking for a Design Engineer to develop accurate and complete shop drawings and specifications for Store Fixtures, Point of Purchase Displays and Merchandisers. Responsibilities
Using SolidWorks to generate solid models and drawings with input from project teams. Ability to translate design concepts into products that can be manufactured. Provide design input from prototype development through production. Process ECN’s, RFC’s and utilize our SolidWorks PDM system. Interface with vendors to design and specify components with cost and availability in mind. Manage multiple projects with attention to schedule requirements. Ability to communicate technical information; clear and concise language; drawing skills; clear and professional emails. Qualifications
Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and sequence of assembly. In addition, the ability to quickly identify variances and problems within the manufacturing process. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Education And/or Experience
Qualified candidates must have 2 years of relevant industry experience. 2 years’ experience with SolidWorks CNC/CAM programming is a plus. Company Description
