These duties describe responsibilities for a design role involving civil engineering drawings and project collaboration.
Responsibilities
Produce detailed civil design drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D
Develop and manage
Surface models and grading plans
Storm and sanitary pipe networks
Profile views, alignments, and point groups
Support plan set preparation and engineering design packages
Collaborate with engineers on projects including
Land development and stormwater infrastructure
Dams, levees, and geostructural systems
Environmental remediation and landfill closure
Learn and apply Geosyntec’s CAD standards, workflows, and Autodesk Construction Cloud environment
Communicate effectively with internal teams and respond constructively to feedback
Qualifications
3–4 years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D
Must have worked in a consulting design environment
Exposure to full plan set development and engineering design workflows
Strong understanding of civil infrastructure modeling tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Skills
Experience with Revit Structural
Hybrid skill set in Civil 3D + Revit is highly desirable
Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers standards or workflows
Exposure to environmental consulting or federal infrastructure projects
Experience Experience Level: Expert Level
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $40.00/hr.
