Job Description The Associate Escrow Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and operational duties to support the escrow process. This role assists with opening orders, preparing documentation, coordinating closings, and ensuring accurate disbursement and follow-up of escrow transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
Open escrow orders and input closing statement information into internal systems
Prepare and review documents required for escrow transactions and closings
Assist with complete disbursement and follow-up of escrow transactions
Interpret various agreements as they relate to closing requirements
Communicate requirements and transaction-related information to clients
Receive and process mail and packages via FedEx, UPS, and USPS
Stack and organize closing packages and related documentation
Ship documents to collateral warehouses, lenders, and borrowers
Perform tasking and data entry within internal systems
Review and reconcile documents within closing packages
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all escrow documentation
Qualifications
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Familiarity with company and/or client operating systems preferred
