The Valuation Team has oversight of the valuation policies, processes, and procedures across all regions within the traditional fund business as well as select alternative fund businesses. As a Valuation Analyst, you\'ll play an important role in ensuring all assets within the business are priced accurately while working closely with different internal and external teams involved in the business, including Portfolio Managers. Complete and support data lifecycle tasks for security reference, pricing, benchmark, index, Valuations and analytics data, including setup, maintenance, validation, reconciliation, and deactivation within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) Respond to internal requests to clarify, verify, reconcile, and control data sets, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness Follow, document, and review standard operating procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose Conduct comprehensive business analysis and define requirements for data management processes and system workflows Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee production releases, collaborating with data vendors, operations teams, and stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure adherence to SLAs Your expertise
ideally 9+ years’ relevant experience of working in an asset management firm or similar experience in a valuation function experience in Securities pricing/valuation, Operations, Product Control, Data Management, Fund Administrators or Auditors experience in Fund Administration, Hedge Fund, Fund-of-Fund, or Private Equity industry will be considered an asset solid knowledge and familiarity with valuation procedures across all asset classes (equity, fixed income, derivatives, structured products) working knowledge of leading market data platforms (such as Bloomberg, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Rimes) solid experience with reconciliation, root cause analysis, price valuation and complex troubleshooting proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (Excel, VBA, macros; SQL is a plus) strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written experience with tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, SimCorp Dimension platform preferred a proactive, accountable team player with a positive, action-oriented mindset, capable of working independently, and driving data-driven solutions About us
