Job Description:
Requirement/Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong phlebotomy skills including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and established procedures.
Experience:
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
Experience in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred.
Responsibilities:
Collect blood specimens following established clinical and forensic procedures.
Prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
Verify patient identification and specimen labeling in the presence of the patient.
Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
Ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.
Should Have:
Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification.
Skills:
Phlebotomy and specimen processing.
Pediatric and geriatric blood collection.
Data entry and documentation.
Customer service and patient communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Qualification and Education:
Medical training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
