Requirement/Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Flexibility to support varying schedules and locations as needed.
Experience:
One to three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Experience in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established clinical and forensic procedures.
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
Verify patient identification and specimen labeling accuracy post-collection.
Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
Ensure a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and professionalism with patients, clients, and coworkers.
Support daily operational activities under the direction of the area supervisor.
Should Have:
Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification.
Skills:
Phlebotomy and specimen processing.
Pediatric and geriatric patient handling.
Data entry and basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Medical training preferred.
