Position Overview The Sales & Marketing Generalist is a hybrid role that supports sales activities while executing day-to-day marketing efforts. This position collaborates closely with leadership to identify opportunities, cultivate prospects, and foster client growth through targeted outreach and effective marketing execution.

This role is neither a pure sales closer nor a senior marketing strategist. It is a hands-on position focused on execution, coordination, and follow-through across sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Lead Generation

Support outbound and inbound sales efforts through prospect outreach and follow-up

Qualify leads and schedule meetings for leadership or sales team members

Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity

Assist with client follow-ups, renewals, and expansion opportunities

Support sales campaigns and outreach initiatives

Marketing Execution

Execute marketing campaigns across email, events, and digital channels

Coordinate webinars, events, and community outreach initiatives

Assist with content coordination (emails, social posts, basic collateral)

Manage marketing lists, campaign tracking, and reporting

Ensure marketing efforts align with edgefi's messaging and brand standards

Coordination & Reporting

Track and report on lead activity, campaign performance, and outcomes

Maintain clean CRM and marketing data

Identify opportunities to improve outreach effectiveness and efficiency

Collaborate with leadership to adjust campaigns based on results

Requirements Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in sales support, business development, marketing, or a related role

Comfortable working in a client-facing or revenue-support role

Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills

Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

Comfortable executing marketing tasks and learning new tools

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Local to Vancouver, WA

Preferred Experience:

Experience in an MSP, IT services, or B2B professional services environment

Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign tools

Experience supporting outbound prospecting or lead qualification

Understanding of managed services or recurring revenue models

Compensation & Benefits Compensation Package:

Base Salary: $55,000

Commission: Up to $30,000 annually

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000

Commission tied to qualified leads, pipeline contribution, and revenue outcomes (Full commission plan details shared during the interview process)
