The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the growth of the Digital Pathology business for the Western United States region. They execute strategies to drive growth and meet goals through self‑management and by leading Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects with clear tactics, KPIs, and market knowledge.

This position reports to the National Sales Director and is part of the global Digital Pathology sales organization, working remotely.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Achieve and exceed regional quarterly and annual sales quotas, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal, and market share goals.

Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for direct sales and solution architects. Advance the professional development, conduct, sales effectiveness, and efficiency of associates.

Build a strong network with strategic customers and actively engage in regional DP sales projects.

Recruit, develop, and train sales associates with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards.

Forecast monthly revenue projections using the company CRM (Salesforce.com).

Drive standard work to funnel management process in CRM (Salesforce.com) and DPIP (Digital Pathology Implementation Plan) process.

The essential requirements of the job include:

5+ years of relevant sales experience.

Bachelor's degree required.

Prior management experience preferred.

Prior capital sales experience.

Contract negotiation/high‑level selling experience or experience in a matrixed environment.

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

50% - 75% travel.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage and company meetings.

Additional preferred experience

High‑level relationships within key accounts (including NA Top 10) in the assigned geography; relationships with Senior Hospital Management (C‑Suite), Laboratory Administration, Department of Pathology, Purchasing and/or Materials Management, Contracts Administration, and other key departments.

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
