We are looking for an Analyst of Portfolio Management to be part of our dedicated Products and Services team.
This is not a real estate role , though these companies do serve the hospitality end market.
Location : Dallas, Texas, USA
Engagement : Full-time
Position context : We are looking for an Analyst of Portfolio Management to be part of our dedicated Products and Services team. This position involves providing ongoing portfolio company support (primarily FP&A), working on board presentation materials, ad-hoc projects, and exposure to add-on acquisitions for our portfolio companies. Candidate is comfortable working independently and directly with all levels of management, and with juggling multiple projects at once. Ideal candidate strengths are organization, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, analyzing business performance, and the ability to think critically and solve problems.

Portfolio Management Analyst Responsibilities
Develop strong working relationships with the management teams of our portfolio companies and target companies
Preparation/review of existing portfolio company budgets, goals and forecasts
Monthly financial reviews of each portfolio company
Ability to take a large amount of data and analysis and convert into a concise presentation to inform executives
Analyze and monitor debt metrics including payment terms, financial covenants, and other restrictions
Assist with the preparation of Ashford board and investment committee presentations
Conduct industry research
Ad hoc projects
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in analytical field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.) required.
1-2 years of work experience.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically
Basic understanding of accounting and P&L analysis
Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Be an independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Have a very strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
