Responsibilities
Show prospective tenants properties and highlight available amenities.
Utilize social media, websites, and marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
Determine tenants’ needs, living standards, and economic viability to match them to appropriate properties.
Establish rental rates based on local market research and cost calculations to ensure fair pricing.
Verify rental applications, references, and applicant credentials for accuracy.
Negotiate lease terms and contracts in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit handling.
Maintain high occupancy rates by staying updated on local market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Past sales experience preferred; a proven record of sales success is required.
Strong knowledge of leasing rules, real estate law, and lease practices.
Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Publisher.
Authorization to work in the US.
Commission-only compensation package (to qualify).
Active NY Real Estate License.
Demonstrated leasing experience.
Proficiency in marketing and lead generation.
Compensation $125,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings.
