ESPN LA is searching for our next high performing Marketing Consultant (Account Executive) to join our sales team. This individual will help us drive revenue and create customized solutions for potential advertising partners. Los Angeles, one of the largest, most talked about sports cities in the country, is frequently on the national stage, bringing local and national content daily. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Marketing Consultant that can help us continue to build and support the brands and assets within this exceptional market.

The Role of an Audio Marketing Consultant The primary role of an Audio Marketing Consultant is to be a local expert and develop long-term relationships with area businesses to drive revenue by offering customized solutions centered around our ESPN LA local brand offerings: talent endorsements, features, social media/digital content, signature events, sweepstakes and traffic-driving in-store promotions. Marketing Consultant (Account Executive) will be responsible for account development, including prospecting new business and account retention. This will require a thorough knowledge of the market and ESPN LA’s programming content, social media platforms and signature events.

Daily Tasks of an Audio Marketing Consultant

Identify, uncover, and develop account opportunities

Develop relationships with area/regional businesses and decision makers

Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the complete portfolio of ESPN LA’s assets and create successful, customized marketing solutions

Continually educate yourself on media and new trends in the industry

Network with local businesses to expand your sphere of influence in the market

Ability to uncover marketing objectives and create solutions to solve those objectives

Ability to sell at all levels including C-Level positions

Be proactive in creating and finding solutions to daily challenges throughout the office and GKB

Other assigned tasks

Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications

Previous sales experience and a passion for sales and service

Familiarity in CRM tool such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Strong network and relationships within the LA community

Goal oriented and creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

Personal sense of responsibility and accountability

Passion to be a part of a team and the ability to work independently

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment - a multi-tasker

Willingness to accept and provide feedback

With this career, you are required to hold a valid driver’s license

Hours/Salary/Benefits Pay Transparency:

The anticipated salary range for California-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 - $175,000 plus commission/bonus. The salary rate is to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
