The Role of a Play-by-Play Marketing Consultant The primary role of a Play-by-Play
Marketing Consultant
is to be the local expert and develop long-term relationships with area businesses to drive revenue by offering customized solutions centered around everything LA Lakers, USC Trojans, LA Rams, LA Angels and LAFC. Play-by-Play
Marketing Consultants
are responsible for account development, including prospecting new business and account retention and growth of existing partners. This will require a thorough knowledge of the market and of ESPN LA, LA Lakers, USC Trojans, LA Rams, LA Kings, LA Angels and LAFC assets as the solutions/services we provide.

Daily Tasks of a Play-by-Play Marketing Consultant
Drive sponsorship revenue for KSPN AM/ESPN LA and the LA Lakers, USC Trojans, LA Rams, LA Kings, LA Angels and LAFC Play-by-Play Radio Network
Customize programs that focus on the needs and objectives of our advertising partners
Knowledge and experience with traffic driving retail promotions utilizing LA Lakers, USC Trojans, LA Rams, LA Kings, LA Angels and LAFC team marks/logos
Gameday entertainment and hospitality with current advertising partners and prospective advertising partners throughout the seasons of the LA Lakers, USC Trojans, LA Rams, LA Kings, LA Angels and LAFC. Plus other events where GKB has access.
Develop relationships with area businesses and decision makers
Responsible for new business account development
Network with local businesses to expand your sphere of influence in the market
Other assigned tasks

Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications

With this career, you are required to hold a valid driver’s license
Hours/Salary/Benefits Pay Transparency:
The anticipated salary range for California-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 - $175,000 plus commission/bonus. The salary rate is to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary plus commission. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
