Description

Oversee day‑to‑day field operations for ground‑up and renovation K-12 projects.

Maintain project schedule, ensuring milestones for site work, structure, MEP, interiors, and turnover are met.

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, holding all partners accountable for safety, quality, and productivity.

Ensure jobsite compliance with contract documents, inspections, permits, and safety requirements.

Conduct daily reports, weekly coordination meetings, and proactive planning sessions.

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on budget, procurement, and forecasting needs.

Drive project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover to the district.

Profile

5+ years of Superintendent experience in K-12, municipal, or relevant commercial construction.

Strong technical background with the ability to proactively solve field issues.

Ability to lead subcontractors while maintaining a professional, collaborative jobsite.

Solid communication skills with owners, architects, inspectors, and internal teams.

OSHA 30 preferred.

Desired Skills and Experience Ground‑up K‑12 school construction; Phased renovations in active/occupied campuses; Campus safety planning & student/staff protection protocols; Schedule creation & management; Subcontractor coordination & daily field leadership; Reading/marking construction drawings & specs; MEP coordination; Quality control & punch list management; OAC meeting leadership and district communication; Inspection coordination; Closeout, commissioning, and turnover execution; Strong knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth school district standards (varies by ISD).

Software / Technology: Procore (daily logs, RFIs, submittals, photos, quality, safety); Bluebeam Revu (plan review, markups, takeoffs); MS Project or Primavera P6 (project scheduling); PlanGrid / Autodesk Build (field documentation); Box, SharePoint, or OneDrive (document management); Drone photo/video documentation experience; OSHA 30; First Aid / CPR
