We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Site Manager/Superintendent
to oversee the daily operations of our new residential/mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for the "boots on the ground" execution, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with NYC building codes and architectural designs. Key Responsibilities
Daily Site Supervision:
Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Compliance & Safety:
Enforce strict adherence to
NYC DOB
and
OSHA
safety regulations to mitigate risk and prevent site violations. Quality & Technical Review:
Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure construction aligns with design intent. Subcontractor Coordination:
Lead weekly coordination meetings; manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure milestones are met. Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between the field and the office, providing regular progress reports to Project Managers and stakeholders. Schedule Management:
Establish and maintain project timelines, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in construction management or site supervision (NYC-based experience is highly preferred). Education:
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred. Technical Skills:
Ability to read and troubleshoot complex construction documents and architectural drawings. Regulatory Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with
NYC Building Codes
and
DOB filing processes . Soft Skills:
Exceptional leadership and communication skills; ability to manage diverse crews under tight deadlines. Certifications:
Valid OSHA 30-Hour and SST (Site Safety Training) card is a major plus. Language Skills
Proficiency in English is required. Bilingual (English/Mandarin)
is a significant advantage for communicating with our development team and specific vendors.
